Movie felt more like a series at times - blame the cameraman and the director for that. Story was weak and a bit predictable. Colour grading was poor. Acting was TERRIBLE btw. Whoever done the casting for this…bruh! Main character couldn’t deliver the same bravado that Russel did in the first movie! Shame!

If you want a background watch then put this movie on. Started off with potential but the poor story development quickly became evident. It was as if the director didn't know whether he wanted a comedy or a revenge/feel sad kind of movie - the blend of both didn't work well in this movie - though it was funny at times. Redin Kingsley killed his role - great acting.

I can't lie, this anime was a weird one - love hate relationship with this. I understand there's more to the anime as it wasn't an accurate adaption of the manga (especially season 2 which is not based on it at all). Throughout the anime, there's a lot of holes and poor character development. You are left wondering why did he/she do this, why have we been introduced with this character, why is this guy beating up the protagonist so easily. Additionally, there's a lot of skips too. Quite a few times you won't see who killed who but the character would be dead. It is just overall weird and poor character and story development - IN THE ANIME. I haven't read the manga and probably won't for a while but have heard good things about everyone who has read it. If you have the luxury of dedicating your time to read manga, defo read Tokyo Ghoul.

Cinematics were nice and easy flowing but the storyline is pretty weak. Like a lot of people mention, the movie is below what Clooney and Pitt are capable of producing as entertainers. Background watch.

Great writing to immerse the watcher straight away and some brilliant acting from the actors. At times the show can be a bit predictable but it is definitely worth the watch. Will be interesting to see in what direction they take season 2.

Excellent cast and superb acting! As for the storyline...there was too much going on. For me it was intriguing enough to finish it off (maybe because it was only 8 episodes and no longer) but I can see why others may have cut it short. We are left with so much to wonder about the outcomes of certain characters and the writing kind of went downhill to at which some points you wonder if this is a project to launder some money lol. Wouldn't watch again.
