Obviously for yourself to make the decision to read or not. I, personally, thought it was an amazing series. I am not a avid fantasy reader but this series had me crying multiple times. I felt that Sarah J Maas did a wonderful job connecting each book together and creating a bond between characters. She has a great taste with how she writes her scenes and actions. I felt like I was truly in the world she created, crying and laughing with her characters. I feel like it’s one of the best series I’ve read especially for any fantasy books. I couldn’t put them down. I think a good plot, good characters, and good connections. The first book is slower than the rest but is the foundation for the series and gets you acquainted with some of the bigger characters. I give it a 5/5. Worth a try!
