I wanted to like this series but found it boring. I appreciated changing up the roles by having a strong female lead and supporting actors. I just never found the story engaging.

Interesting period piece with a lot of action. It concentrates on the back and forth relationship between Rod Steiger and James Coburn. Enjoyable ride not to be taken too seriously with anachronisms aplenty. Steiger does a good job playing the Mexican bandit, but the part was meant for Eli Wallach and the movie would have been better still, had he.
