I don't care about "talent" competitions, but I do enjoy a professionally well put together singing competition, but not for more than 3 seasons. Only The Voice has kept me watching longer than any other show. Every season they add something new and interesting to the rules, which adds another dimension and makes me want you to keep watching. For example they took away the host ...great move, he wasn't needed. Another rule, "blocking", "stealing artists, etc. Anyway Snoop and Kelly...worst MCs ever. Snoop needs to stick to the Corona and blunts on the beach commercials, and Kelly needs to find a REAL STYLIST. Makeup and hair fabulous, but for crying out loud, what's with the clown dress and the cheap pleather dress? I know the girl is plum, she knows she is plum...good for her. I know many starts that are on the heavy side but they slay it with their wardrobe. Can-cans are not going to hide your curbiness they just accentuate them but not in a good way. I pressed something and lost my final paragraph. So I'm making this short. By the end of the show I had picked for song and best vocals Michael Bolton and Jordan (from The Voice). These guys don't need all that background production and can belt it without the music. I chose third the K-pop (not for song or voice) just for the professional performance and presentation. There were so many people on that stage, I lost her in the crowd. Will i watch again? Nope. Maybe with new hosts and different format...hum...that means a whole new show. Is the voice coming back? I guess I must Goggle it.
