A magical wee book that I have read many times over the last 50 years, the Truim is only about an hour's journey from here and after reading the book I plan a short trip taking in various lochs, rivers and burns, usually including the Truim, often catching nothing but enjoying the wildlife and solitude. Many thanks to the old Blairgowrie library for introducing me to it.
