Amazing illustration but irritating ending/writing The main character just becomes a snotty brat through the book and doesn’t grow at all. She had a cute sapphic romance that was quickly trashed. The main character goes on to ignore and abandon her friends for new people who come off as annoying, stuck up and pretentious. It gives the vibes of early 2000s witch movie so read if you like that. I will give it that there are fantastic illustrations and the drawing style is lovely but that doesn’t make up where it lacks heavily in the writing. It’s like the over used found family trope but make them all terrible people. Sad because it really had good potential with queer rep and art. :(
