Hi Mane

I honestly really liked The Ritual a lot, I feel that the ending was rushed tho, (I’m going to say spoilers now so if you haven’t watched it yet then I suggest you read someone else’s review) but I think the part where they got to the lanterns leading to the cult was where it all fell apart. In my opinion, they could have just left the cult out of the film and just had the creature going after them. I also think that it gave us a Hollywood ending, I think if the protagonist had been stuck in the forest or something else other than the ending we got, then it would have been a better film. Way too many Hollywood endings nowadays man. But basically I’d have rated it 5 star if it wasn’t rushed and gave us that ending, the first half of the film was really really good tho, it’s probably one of the best I’ve seen. If you haven’t watched the film yet and have read this then I suggest you still watch it because it’s definitely one of the best horror movies I’ve seen, except for the rushed second half
