Personally, I am not too into sci-fi movies. I want to like them until the plot takes an unnecessary turn (like aliens). However, the concept of this movie was interesting! At a base level, this was enjoyable. There were a lot of deeper meanings in the movie. It also got me thinking a lot about life. I enjoy these topics. It also seemed like something that could happen. I was not expecting to enjoy this movie. The thought and detail put into this film were amazing!

Shrek is easily one of the best movies I have watched. As a kid, I loved watching these movies. Roughly twenty years later, this still holds! Often, looking back on childhood movies, they aren't as good. However, Shrek is just as funny and entertaining as a child. All ages can truly enjoy this movie. It is the perfect family movie! Children and their parents can laugh together. I think a lot of this has to do with the humor. The humor is a bit crude but appropriate for younger audiences. Also, it is not a pretty fairytale. It is more realistic than a Disney movie. Overall, 10/10!
