For a couple of wealthy guys starting out in the dead of South American winter supported by a throng of professionals, generator trucks, spare motorcycles, drones, a small fortune in riding gear, specifically place charging stations especially for them and rolling through some of the most riveting landscapes on this planet, these two guys spent about a third of the time griping about the cold, another third of the time consumed by range anxiety and the final third concerned about their schedule. Unless the part where they enjoyed themselves is on the cutting room floor, these guys let problems the ever attendant staff should have handled ruin the experience.
I understand that the editing may be a culprit, but Ewan was a producer. He could have intervened. I understand he is an actor, perhaps reality shows are out of his range without a real director. But I don't understand with all the advantages they had why the final product was so blah. I got through three episodes before I gave up on the cast and watched another episode for the scenery alone.
