This is her very first movie but I have read MANY MANY MANY Colleen Hoover books and I CANNOT wait till she has another book made it a movie, I think her movies will definitely get better over time ❤️🫶🏿 I read the book during a very hard time in my life and LOVED IT. I also read It Starts With Us and wouldn't put the books down. The movie isn't as detailed as the book, nor as intense which is understandable as it is PG-13, but that book was rated R. The movie was amazing honestly the character choices were definitely questionable. I feel like the actors definitely played their roles the correct way but maybe there should have been different actors and the movie would have been better.... I also don't think it needed to be two full hours. I'm also not a fan of how they left out or modify certain situations where as in the book it was more intense, and powerful and interesting vs the movie was dulled down.
