I found myself mulling over details in this story frequently over the year since I read it. It is based on the true adventure of the author’s aunt who became a missionary to Africa. It is a vivid tale of a group of missionaries who are stunned by the physical challenges presented by this vast country and the difficulties endured by them and the native peoples.
