I really enjoy James May's sense of humour and have enjoyed his other travel documentaries. However, as a woman I have stopped watching after the 2nd episode, and this has burst my bubble about wanting to visit. It has made me not want to visit India. Where were all the women in the scenes? I can't really believe there are no women, apart from the standup comedian snippet in the first episode who I assume was there to tick the box (here you go, we are being inclusive). I've never visited India, but have watched other documentaries and haven't noticed the lack of women in the general screenshots / population. Did the cameraman / Directr do that on purpose? Look at all these activites only men are able to enjoy (sorry but that is quite uninteresting). The majority of the women shown in the background were foreign, but that was only 3 women and then images of women clearly shopping. Do better Amazon! Consider you audience, and perhaps label it as a show aimed at men if that's what it is.. We are in 2024, not the dark ages!
