At the very beginning, we knew exactly who the bad guy was, Grant, and Ellie just had to collect the evidence. And odds were in their favor all the time, literally. They arrive to Byosyn where Ian conveniently works and gives them a master pass to a secret lab where they have to find the evidence that Byosyn creates genetically modified locusts. Grant and Ellie conveniently sneak into the lab to collect the evidence Of course, no one conveniently doesn't see them on monitors. Meanwhile, Owen and Claire conveniently meet a lady in Malta who conveniently decides to take them from Malta to another part of the world to Byosyn farm on the plane. Unfortunately, Claire has to jump with the shoot, the plane crashes into the iced lake, Owen and the lady pilot survive but have to deal with the prehistoric creature. Of course, conveniently none of them was injured. Claire lands in the forest full of carnivore monsters, but she survives because the monster conveniently got destructed by T-Rex and after dealing with T-Rex and almost having Claire in its mouth, it changes its mind. Claire, Owen, and lady pilot get together a bit later where another monster conveniently got distracted by T-Rex (again) while attacking all three of them... There are so many awkward moments and ridiculous dialogues trying to explain to the audience the story and the character's motives and reasons.
