Amazing movie. Must watch. It might not please chauvinists, and it would be a new understanding for single male child or families with male children. The film is amazing. How many women would stand up like Jaya, is still a puzzle, but, hurting physically or mentally should be addressed and the counter attacks are not always feminism. Empowerment simply means equipping oneself to lead a dignified and happy life. This film teaches, 'no means no'. The conventional apology and going back to in- law home are not necessary. She equipped herself financially, and she make him understand his mistakes in the end. She taught him, there is life beyond farm and she in a way mocked him back. His elso called elder chettan was a failure himself and the chauvinist attitude failed his business too. There are more things to explore, to be precise his probable remarriage and the attitude of her parents. It's a great story.

Ok, for those who want to know how good this drama is, I don't like it much. I felt something is incomprehensible. Secretary Kim (k drama) was more entertaining (mentioned because of a thread similarity at some point). Most of the viewers watched this show for the leads. The actors played well. But the storyboard is weak. Capsule summary 1. 3 sons and the lead adopted ( it is told in the beginning episodes itself. Youngest is treacherous. 2. Daughter's paternity forged 3. Daughter in the web of treachery of step mom. 4. Misunderstanding between sisters and brother's u will understand. 5. Good chemistry between leads. 6. Sibling connections seems good at the end, except for the youngest bro. 7. Exposed, but the expected reactions were not reflected. 8. Mother's death, kidnap, a girl's life because of drug, the lead's life, paternity, education and family life were not given importance and ML's story is kind of missing. It's kind of rushed and vague after first half. ( It disappointed me actually). I've tried to mention the plot in a rough way, with my bias, so you can try it and can make better reviews. 😀 But the plot is unsatisfactory for me personally. It didn't capture my attention. It's my personal opinion so no offense.

This drama is good. But I skipped many scenes. I waited it too long to be subbed so I regret each second I skipped. But at the end I'm happy and thank you subbers for meticulously translating it 👍 Wonderful job. Fair fairly done the drama. About the climax... Wat if it's his dream. He was doing all works alone and mesmerizing on his thoughts on her. I take this climax for granted. But her life is uncertain, so does her mother. I think it's the beauty of this story. Waiting in the banks, looking at the water ahead... He was waiting for her, alone... And she appears! real or imagination, it's in the heart... So whatever we imagine, they got their truelove. Death cannot affect true feelings. It will hurt; the seperation. One might feel the loneliest in society or at least we make it feel that way for the affected person. But the moment you are alone with your memory, you can feel the person, you longed for. It's just our belief, that moves our life. I loved it. I wish all are alive. But even if not, it's happiness just loving each other beyond death... The title is justified. "The faded light years" it has that meaning in it.
