Scariest game I ever played (after Dead Space). This was the first horror game I ever played after resident evil, so this was a completely new style that was much more terrifying. I ended up playing this one before the first dead space. I definitely think the first is a lot scarier but this is my favorite out of the three. The comedic banter between Ellie and Isaac is funny and definitely lightens the mood. And honestly before playing this I was worried that it wouldn’t be that good of a game since it’s about to be 10 years old but boy was I wrong. The graphics are really good IMO since it looks just like a game that might come out in 2020. If you’re feeling hesitant about playing it I highly recommend you do, the gore is a little gross when you first play it but you get over it. I’m disappointed that 3 was not as good as this and 1, but here’s to hoping Visceral makes a comeback with dead space 4, and soon.

(CONTAINS SPOILERS) I found this game very underwhelming. To be honest the graphics weren’t that great, nearly the same as they were for 7, you’d think over 4 years later they might be better, plus the textures didn’t load correctly and were pretty poor. For the gameplay it was okay, not that scary just very unsettling, the scariest part were the jump scares and the giant baby + heisenberg’s factory. I found myself getting really bored throughout the game, most of the puzzles were too easy and the bosses/enemies were way too easy to kill. The “puzzles” being “find the key”, key being literally one foot away. I played standard and played some on hardcore and the difference between both modes when killing the Lycans is ridiculously harder?? I don’t think the game itself was THAT bad but it’s such a downgrade from resident evil 7 and the 2 and 3 remakes so it was a huge disappointment. The story was a waste of time just to get that ending and it almost seemed like they needed a way to kill Ethan off without making fans mad. Also why didn’t Ethan question how his hand literally went back on his arm? Or how he fought the biggest boss of the game with no heart? It doesn’t make sense. And the TIME SKIP again, we’ll never play Chris, Claire, or Elon ever again probably, with a 15+ year time jump they’re gonna be old as hell and possible unplayable so we’re just gonna end up playing as overpowered Rosemary moldwinters for the next 5 new games. I really wanted to love this game, after judging 7 for so long till I finally beat it a month ago and now I love the game, this one doesn’t even touch 7, honestly.

[Review contains spoilers] Okay so I genuinely really wanted to to love this book as I’m a huge hunger games fan, and I love Suzanne Collin‘s writing. But this book did not even partially live up to the expectations. The book is paced very poorly as it picks up in the middle of the book and once again drops soon after. I got this book the day it came out and I just finished it today because the beginning (first 200 pages) was so boring and hard to get through. So once I got to the part about the actual hunger games I was excited and the book picked up, and got more interesting. Sadly this part did not last very long and it goes back to boring like before but a little less descriptive and more interesting. I was just excitedly trying to reach the end of the book to see the secrets that were never answered in the original trilogy, but this part seemed very rushed and poorly written as it was the last 10 pages of the book. I also wanna say that Snow as a character is somewhat likable in the beginning but he contradicts his own thoughts frequently so it’s confusing whether I should like or dislike him, for majority of the book he did seem like a good person just with selfish thoughts, but when you reach the end of the book that’s when his actions and thoughts stop making sense. This is a BIG SPOILER but the part when him and Lucy Gray are going to run away, he suddenly has some kind of mental breakdown and goes crazy?? Like where did that come from, it was random and just did not make sense. It also leaves you with an entirely new mystery. I don’t wanna discourage anyone from reading this book but if you expect it to be like the original trilogy, then lower your expectations. I had high expectations going into this book and I left unsatisfied and bored. I don’t know why Suzanne decided to write this book so differently and rushed at the end. And I hate to criticize her work but she did not do President Snow’s story any justice. Also as some people said below this book seemed rushed and like Suzanne was pressured to write it. It just doesn’t explain much which is what the purpose of this book was? There’s still so many questions I have and what happened to Tigris, Lucy Gray?

Don’t really understand the bad reviews. It’s a slasher movie, it’s not going to be the best movie you’ve ever seen so you get what you expect. It was much better than my expectations though. I loved how there was a comedy aspect like there was in scream 4, but they didn’t overdo it. There was a lot of gore obviously but it wasn’t horrible, a few of the deaths were a little unrealistic but that’s a slasher film for you! Don’t know how anyone can survive like 20 stab wounds all over their body but yea. The beginning was also great, it captured the same feel of the original Scream’s open scene by making it incredibly modern day and perfectly captured Gen Z at its finest in Tara’s character. I highly recommend watching this if you just want a stupid but well written slasher film, it also takes shots at other scream movies too which I thought was funny. Now for the ****KINDA SPOILER PART**** So I liked how it hinted at a specific common twist throughout the movie, which almost made me doubt my original stance on who the killer was. Obviously the ending was predictable but the movie did a good job on swaying your opinion, it also bought back old characters if you were wondering at all. Rip

Alright revising my review, it’s very slow and boring at first but it gets a lot better, it’s still not as good as the first game, in my humble opinion. But it’s a pretty solid game, the graphics are still highly disappointing and the zombies are incredibly lame. The game is more action and human fighting based and lacks the zombie aspect that the first game held high, which is disappointing. But it introduced a lot of new creative elements into the dying light universe, I haven’t beat it yet but the game is pretty solid starting about 1/4 ways through. It’s incredibly similar to fallout 4, even used some of the same mechanics. Overall the controls and everything are about the same as the last game, introducing a few new things but it still has that dying light feel, even just barely Only major downside is them releasing the game on ps4 and Xbox one was an complete cash grab from the company, the graphics on both consoles are ridiculously bad and unplayable, I had to buy it on the pc because it doesn’t work on old Gen consoles despite what they say
