Would give this zero if I could. Bland, stupid, cliche and ultimately boring. Everyone involved in this project is incompetent and should never be hired in any screenwork or stagework again. At a certain point, you become a reflection of the work - even if only in it adding to your portfolio. This is an example of career suicide. Next time someone comes up with the "subversive" idea, fire them, blacklist them, and lose their number. This sucks dognuts.

An interesting series though I feel that the constant degradation of the history and culture of northern Europe is somewhat gross. By continuing to force the inclusivity and tokenistic addition of other cultures within what was once a homogenous cultural space simply shows that the motivation here is political, not entertainment. The entire Lydis arc is just that. Tokenistic. Jarl Haakon is perhaps the oddest inclusion in the entire series, as is the "amazonian" shieldmaidens. Thematically, its a weird mess. Don't see this continuing into another series. I can't wait to see the re-creation of the story of Shaka Zulu made to include a Scottish witch doctor... simply to create diversity.

By far the best game I've ever played. It immerses you so completely into the medieval world and contains the most compelling and interesting character progression I've ever seen. This is not only a must-play but a must buy. It is NOT for everyone. If you're more into competitive play or multiplayer experiences you will not enjoy this. If you're looking for a cerebral adventure where you are not spoon fed, this is for you. I've finished the game at least 5 times, and every time I play through I discover interesting and new things. This company should be held up as the future of the gaming industry. Incredible work.

The recent fascination with TV adaptations of novels is awesome, but only if they follow the original narrative. There is a reason the novels are so successful. The writing. By throwing entire sections of the story in the bin because the TV screen writers "know better" is utterly idiotic. That you continue to employ these people after they ruin so many amazing series is insane. The drop in ratings and eventual cancellations of the shows after they start writing should be an indication that they are inept, but you hire them anyway. The lady who is coming across from theatre gets a pass, though you should know that theatre writers don't understand humans... which is why they write for the stage. This is one of the worst written shows on TV. The few moments where they got the tone of the show right were few and far between. Worse, Rafe Judkins is a guy whose only claim to fame is that he lost the Survivor TV show. Amazon let him produce the series. Who's his mom? Is this nepotism or just Amazon proving that they can't produce anything themselves. This is utter rubbish. Avoid at all costs.
