Interesting concept but badly scripted and poorly acted. Full of plot holes and character decisions that should infuriate any audience with an IQ. The hype and praise about it got me watching it but i wish i could turn back time. Would've been happy just to have read about it.

Not only does this show deliver on the trademark Ricky Gervais comedy, but it's really moving and emotionally engaging. I found parts of the show to be very relatable such as the protagonist's primary reason to keep living (for the dog), and his reluctant journey to find meaning and happiness in life.
