Not as good as Scorpion's Revenge, but good on its own nonetheless. Combining two, technically three, games into one story made it fall apart here and there but it kept together for the most part. The story isn't bad per se but it's not the best either. It shines, ironically enough, in moments were it doesn't focus on the titular battle for the realms. Again, Scorpion takes the spotlight as his story is more interesting and the stakes are bigger on his end. Not only that but his interactions with Sub-Zero are engaging enough. Liu-Kang and the gang have a decent story and tournament but at least in the end they get enough great moments. In the end it's an alright movie. It may fall apart in some parts but at least it's enjoyable.
