It’s just what you’d expect, beautiful animation, great voice cast (the Chris Pratt controversy wasn’t a big deal), wonderful Easter eggs and a lot of laughs. If you’re being a hard critic because the story is a typical trope for kids movies…I don’t know what you expected for a kids film. I enjoyed this a lot with friends and enjoyed the experience. It’s been a long time since I was excited to see a movie in theaters. Also can I just say, Jack Black as Bowser is exactly what we needed.
