At the time I was a teenager and today I have vivid memories of the late 60's and how turbulent those days were for what seemed like the whole world. I knew I really liked the Beatles, their music and them individually. How 4 lads could come together and write such stunning music before even reaching 30 yrs of age remains to me, the thing I am most glad to have lived to see. This wonderful masterpiece puts us in the room with them and makes my admiration for the Beatles even greater. Not enough stars to express my pleasure watching this.

Refreshingly morbid. Misguided honesty results in fresh edge of your seat interest. Half hour is a proper format, like baby steps, this will help build each character. Gervais plays the part with a genuine edge. Only watched 3 episodes so far and I like it. Nice break from mindless tv.
