This was a great movie. It was emotional and compelling and heartwarming. The relationship between Alberto and Luca was so sweet and the underlying messages were meaningful and easy to understand. Sure it wasn't perfect or life changing, but it was a light hearted, feel good family movie. If you're one of these adult critics looking for something to make you question your existence, then please watch something else and stop leaving bad reviews on a kids movie for no reason.

Just finished the first season. Was an enjoyable watch until the finale which was clearly fixed. Mark and Boone had an amazingly epic and creative build and should have won 100%. Tyler and Amy should have gone home the round before. Another show where the judges are clearly biased and judging based on pity "they're having a baby" points. What a let down. So don't waste your time and I will not be watching season 2.

I would have to say that this is probably the slowest faced paced movie I've ever watched. The entire time I literally thought it was still the beginning of the movie, but when I looked, there were only 15 minutes left. I have never read the books. I had no idea what they're even about or what to expect from this movie. Even so, this movie felt like a let down and not very memorable.The emotional parts were cringeworthy and the "friendship" between Artemis and Holly felt forced and out of nowhere. There were a lot of things that were never explained and even though his father was captured, there really wasn't any feeling of danger. I mean, he found the thing and then poof his father was back and everything was good. Other than the fact his father was back, I'm not sure what everyone was cheering about. Exactly what big evil did they defeat in this movie? While Artemis seemed smart, he didn't really give off the feeling of some big mastermind. There were times when it felt close, but then they abruptly forced some kind of emotional scene and ruined it. Overall just something to watch if you want a plain, simple movie and aren't really wanting anything too dramatic, emotional, or time consuming. Contemplating reading the books, but after the movie feel rather reluctant.
