I listened to this book on audible, so maybe that will taint my review. But honestly...not impressed by this book. It follows the very predictable pattern of self-help books where it lays out an anecdote or parable and then makes a point about why it matters to the central argument of the book. There's nothing wrong with this format, but after a while it gets a bit tiresome. It's way too formulaic and it doesn't lend itself to original writing. Also, the author comes off as kind of immature. I really don't care about profanity laced writing or blue humor, but this book tries way too hard to be edgy. The humor comes off as very forced and corny. This book was alright and had it moments, but overall was not a very intelligent or enlightening read.
