I’ve watched and rewatched HIMYM over the years. It remains one of my favorite shows, right up there with Scrubs. These shows are witty and offer relevant current (when aired) cultural references that we could all relate with. Plus, the original cast of HIMYM had great chemistry and made you want to be in that crew, especially Barney and Marshall. HIMYF, so far, falls way short of my expectations and feels a bit forced … - I’m all for diversity in casting but seriously? It’s a bit too much — it’s not realistic anymore - Characters are not yet that likable … hard to root for any of them - Cast lacks chemistry - Jokes are poorly written and delivered - The manner in which Kim Cattrell starts to tell her son the story — she’s no Bob Saget but via some future form of FT … I mean, just end the call - No real cultural relevance thus far I’ll probably watch a few more episodes and see if this is worth watching
