Having seen the original many times since its 1984 debut, I think this was a lot of eye candy and wasted film on views and not enough story. The actors whispered so much you couldn't understand what they were saying. I was pleased I didn't have to pay movie prices. I won't watch a part 2 if it's made. The original got a bad rap because it was ahead of its time. This of course is my option as a big fan of the original. Please watch the original then rate this movie. Other than the cinematic that are now available the new movie is dark and has no color to the characters. The original characters were much more interesting.
