One star is it for this one. This game highlights Activision's lack of consideration and acknowledgment of the consumer. This game, and this series, are the epitome of virtual manipulation and capitalist motives that plague the gaming industry today. While the ideas and concepts introduced in this series are admirable, the follow thru just isn't there. While it's masked and has the sounds and feel of CoD, it's clearly hiding plenty of misfires, casualties, and cover-ups. Bugs, Glitches, and Exploits aside, the self proclaimed "Anti-Cheat" software that is implemented in the game is toted as being 'solid and up to date' is merely just a security blanket thrown over the bigger issue. With each update, new exploits and cheats appear, and get left unchecked if not made a focus of the CoD community itself. This game wasn't for players and fans, it was for the almighty dollar. Corners were cut, and it's apparent throughout the weeks they think of players less and less. Removal of playlists forcing players into lobbies, the lack of consistent reporting, and constant money bundles are the new way of thinking. It's demoralizing to give time to something that doesn't give back.
