2.5 stars. I loved the ebook sample of this so much that i considered buying it, fortunately as a previous reviewer also commented, im glad i was able to hire it from the library for free. I confess i have not finished the whole book. Initially i loved the writers way of expressing events in Morocco, but once she returns to life in New York it became boring. Recalling her life history seemed irrelevant for this story, and im feeling as though she was trying to impress us. It may have been better to remain more descrete about the places they went, the people they spent time with and the celebs they worked with....perhaps i would have more respect for her if she did this. I wish from the beginning she had provided more insight into why she felt ok about accepting Annas generosity in the first place, without thinking that surely in life nothing comes for free.
