This movie was not bad and the acting was pretty good as well. I think what made this movie somewhat effective was the fact that you never really never got to see the the Manson Girls and there was no dialogue with the killers. If there was actually any conversation between the killers and the victims I guess only the remaining survivors of the Manson family that was involved in that horrific night would know. But sometimes what you don't see can be more frightening than what you do see. Wasn't the greatest take on this subject as I feel there was a lot of made up dialogue and the events did not seem to be 100% factual as to what really happened. But, that being said, it does give you an idea as to what the victims must have gone through and how terrified they must have been. Not showing the Sharon Tate slaying was a good idea as I can only imaging that would have been even too graphic to be put on film yet it still was very effective.
