Really quite awful. The story was apparently made up in the taxi on the way to the pitch. The dialogue: so lame it is presumed deceased. Calling the characters one dimensional is an afront to physics and it was edited with all the grace and elan of a flatulent moose. All of this is maybe forgivable if it wasn't such a turgid, soulless and pointless remake of an all time classic.
