Another lame, dull Soulslike. Easily the most overrated game I have ever played. I will never begin to understand why people like this game so much when there are hundreds of the same, depressing Soulslike Metroidvanias out there that are a thousand times funner and cost less money. The story(if you can even call this random slew of events a story)is horrendously predictable, the combat is boring, and the ending is super cliche and predictable. Go buy Hollow Knight instead. It's pretty much the same thing, but a million times funner with a much better story, and it costs half as much money and lasts at least three times as long.

Edit I decided to change my review of this game. The main thing I look for in games is epic storyline and gameplay, and this game isn't that type of game. It is a peaceful, relaxed game. Just because this game is a different genre then what I normally like doesn't mean I can shame it. This game has beautiful graphics, good characters, and a good soundtrack. I feel bad for what I said at first about LOEL. Just because it isn't the right game for me doesn't mean it isn't the right one for you.

Hilarious, creative, and unique experience. I got this gem if a game for 1.99 while it was on sale and it was amazing. Not really a game for kids, in case you are looking at this as a parent. The only reason I had to take away a star is because there was a glitch during the car driving sequence where the car would not start and I had to reset the game a couple times and replay that long chapter. I loved this game, though.
