The actors tried, they really did. Watchable but utterly predictable with nothing new to offer. Often tries for drama/terror/poignancy but just falls flat.

Set in a slow paced, small farming town.... the film is equally slow paced. It tries to set the same slightly clueless tone as Shaun of the Dead, but never achieved the same comedic tension. Despite good actors and some funny scenes, the movie is boring and takes an unexpected - I mean, stupid - surprise turn at the end. Wait until you can see it for free and it doesn’t matter if you doze off. Oh, yes. Three characters and their story line disappear. LOL.

Utterly creepy; the family is oblivious forever and then completely helpless In the face off... their own child. Or is it?
