Predictable story, no suspense, so much exposition. Lucasfilm's extreme desire to pander can be felt and it takes you way out of the story. They call Star Wars fans patriarchal, well I'm a female who disliked the show. They are so focused on creating strong, female leads that they neglect everything else Star Wars is about: epic saber fighting, riveting politics, space battles, good vs. evil.
Padme, Leia, Ahsoka, Dutchess Satin, Bastilla, Asajj, Mon Motha, Satele Shan, Luminara Unduli & Aayla Secura, Aurra Sing, Adi Gallia... just some of the amazing female characters (who are actually unforgettable) that came from George Lucas's Star Wars. But, please, go on Disney about how neglected females are.
