While this movie may have some Christian interest, there is very little factual truth about the life of Rich Mullins. While I’m sure Rich had struggles (who doesn’t?), I'm not sure temper tantrums and alcoholism were those struggles—especially as someone who had a strong Quaker background and faith. This movie did not follow his real life’s journey whatsoever. He may have been a bit unorthodox in how he pursued his relationship with Christ, but he was not a crazy-haired, brooding, unbelieving introvert who ruined friendships. Do not take any part of this movie as an accurate biography of Rich Mullins, at all!!
