I read an Article that said "this is remix, not a cover" and that is the best possible way to describe this live Action. This show is different from the original, it's dark, brutal and more mature but it still has the fun elements of the original animation. Also, all the themes are character motivations are still present. Don't go in expecting expecting a shot for shot remake. This live action series is its own thing and personally the changes they made are refreshing if you embrace them. The effects are great, the bending is in almost every scene and it feels more impactful and dangerous. The performances are also great. Everyone is giving it their all. Azula feels a bit flat but she might pick up in upcoming seasons ( incase it gets renewed).
