I’ve watch two episodes and so far I’m disappointed. I was a big fan of Flip or Flop. I think Tarek’s budget hawkishness is the secret sauce no one thinks about. Usually due to those budget constraints it would force him and Christina to come up with creative solutions to deliver good products to their potential buyers. Through the first two episodes Tarek has conceded on every budget issue. And spends more time trying to justify Heather’s credentials to us, then actually participating in a flip. Tarek hasn’t swung one sledgehammer yet. Tarek is very successful so maybe he’s advanced beyond swinging hammers himself which is fine but if he’s just going to literally phone it in, then I’m not going to watch.
