It was a love letter to women and surpassed all my expectations. It wasn’t just a cheese ball of a movie, I was laughing the entire time. Props to Mattel for not limiting the movie to only the good aspects as a marketing ploy, but also addressing the bad (self esteem, body image, the cringey discontinued dolls). Phenomenal casting also.
