Lynette Mills

I thought this series would be interesting to start with but I found the characters all too irritating in the end Mel is a self absorbed woman, who wants everything to go her way and at the slightest hiccup runs home, forgetting how much Jack has been there for her and helped her, so she is not a very forgiving character. Hope is an interfering woman, with a penchant for holding onto grudges, she means well but it usually backfires, Doc is of course your typical grumpy old school Doctor, with a heart of gold underneath it all, Preacher is one of the better characters in the show - but it is all rather wishy washy and predictable - you have the gossipy cliche of town women, the bad lads (illegal pot growers) causing trouble, the knight in shining armour with serious mental issues and the damsel in distress who wants it all her own way and stamps her feet when it goes wrong - this was definitely a time wasting tv series
