Disappointing - I love the books but found the characters not as I imagined them to be - it was too chocolate boxy for me - too nicey picey! Wonderful if all old age homes looked like that - but unfortunately not! I wish that it was a bit more realistic to real life in the UK and please why Pierce Brosnan? There are far better actors out there - I can only give 1 star because my dream of watching the books come to life has been shattered by this bad production of a lovely series of books

An absolutely devastating documentary to watch - until the end where there is glimmer of hope - we (the human race) need to act on a global basis for the future. The film ends with One Ocean One World We need to add One Chance That is why we have to put it right otherwise the end of mankind will come much faster than we anticipated!

Boring and slow a waste of money

I thought this series would be interesting to start with but I found the characters all too irritating in the end Mel is a self absorbed woman, who wants everything to go her way and at the slightest hiccup runs home, forgetting how much Jack has been there for her and helped her, so she is not a very forgiving character. Hope is an interfering woman, with a penchant for holding onto grudges, she means well but it usually backfires, Doc is of course your typical grumpy old school Doctor, with a heart of gold underneath it all, Preacher is one of the better characters in the show - but it is all rather wishy washy and predictable - you have the gossipy cliche of town women, the bad lads (illegal pot growers) causing trouble, the knight in shining armour with serious mental issues and the damsel in distress who wants it all her own way and stamps her feet when it goes wrong - this was definitely a time wasting tv series
