As a retired NYCT worker, one of my jobs was to write parking tickets. I feel the pain every time an officer is challenged. We are enforcing the laws to keep people safe. By not following the laws causes safety issues. I do understand parking in some areas can be challenging. Why add to the confusion. Learn and know the laws in your city and ones you travel to. Congratulations on a job well done with little appreciation. Remember, we are just doing our job.
