Can't stop feeling that my time was being robbed all the time I read this. Seriously the worst written book i ever read. Was triggered by the premise. It seems exciting, no, to have a fantasy magical fiction book from Indonesia? But ugh... Okay, i like the idea. I appreciate all the names, traditions, foods and everything that based on Indonesian culture. But the story? Shallow. Dunno what makes the writer seems like in hurry to tell everything. Even the important things. The character? Shallow. I don't feel engaged with them, no sympathy. And all those ugly sentences, typo...i mean, what did the editor do? Nothing? I won't read the 2nd book. It's a torture enough for me to read this book
