I think critics and snobs who have given this movie such terrible reviews have some odd agendas in doing so. It’s perfectly ok to say “I didn’t like it” however, some people were hideously and unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. An opinion is one thing, but for heaven’s sake some people are just monstrous! Bottom line, It’s a charming little film that I enjoyed and plan to watch again. The ending left a little to be desired, (hence 4⭐️ rather than 5) but maybe it’ll be redeemed in a sequel. One can only hope there will be one! Moral of the story is… use your own brain and not just the opinions of some obviously entitled stuck up snobbish critics, who I vividly imagine, don’t know the difference between athletes foot and an orgasm. Lol. Oh now there I go being equally rude…admit it…it was at least a humorously clever way to be rude 🤷🏽‍♀️“The Invitation” Is a nicely put together and entertaining film. I think it does a great job of including aspects of the classics that obviously inspired it. I also wonder if Megan Markle-Windsor (or whatever) had a chance to see it & have herself a good laugh. I’m sure some of you get the symbolism there😉I do hope you watch it and enjoy it as much as I did. Be well and Blessed Beloveds😘

I love this little film! The comedic tone was so appropriately written to the truth based story itself. Years ago I wrote an essay about the evolution of clitoral and vaginal stimulating devices. I have to admit that one can be naturally prompted to apply humor in the explanation of the history of archaic women’s health treatments. This movie successfully managed to both inform and entertain. I think it’s been grossly underrated!
