I highly recommend to each of you, friends and my court reporter constituents and bretheren, a movie, "CODA," which you will enjoy and find heartwarming. I did. What is ironic, based on my early childhood and background, being born of deaf parents, is that I eventually entered the court reporting profession, along with others, instrumental in helping bridge the communications gap between the hearing and silent world of the deaf and hard of hearing by developing a system in providing realtime translation for hearing impaired individuals.
