It was visually gorgeous, but the plot was thin and unengaging.

Great movie Disney movie. The negative critics forget the type of movie they're reviewing. This is a Disney movie meant to be watched and enjoyed by anyone...including and especially children. The movie is a celebration of 100 years, there are easter eggs and homages everywhere but it does weigh down the story. People want to come in here with one star like "the characters are underdeveloped and the plot is super thin and predictable." Like Bruh...if you went into this expecting deeply complex characters with backstories and independent motivations while weaving a plot that keeps you guessing the whole way through...you're lost. This is a 90 minute Disney movie not 6 seasons of Game of Thrones. Also, the few of you racists out there might as well say exactly what you mean rather than hiding behind thinly veiled comments about the main character (who's half white, half black). Y'all ain't clever and we can tell you're just upset because she's not white, and worse, has the audacity to be mixed.
