La Brea is just terrible. The only emotion it evoked is sympathy for the actors that have to play these two-dimensional characters. Watching the first show, I just thought, those poor actors having to endure this. Is this the only work they can get, are they paid well enough to put up with the bad writing, will this hurt their career. I did feel good that I only wasted a short bit of my life watching the first one and will not watch any other. Even the effects of the sinkhole occurring seemed like a week B rate movie. It is like a bad movie, poorly translated into another language.

An outstanding book about a powerful and real married couple that I have known for years. Sharing the reality of one being in a wheelchair from birth and the other not. They hold nothing back including their struggles and victories. Inspiring for anyone.
