Not surprised it was cancelled. while the cast is fabulous, the writing is not. the originals is inundated with far too many long winded speeches and the never ending battles are monotonous...same scene over and over again... only different faces. Worst of all, the character development, or the lack there of to be more precise. Its reminiscent of a 5 year old's temper tantrum at almost every turn. Its infuriating. They could have done so much more with it.

The only epic fail in these olympics is the nbc coverage....as usual. I watched every minute of the free peacock standard stream. The hosts have more airtime than the actual 1st time live coverage. which wasnt actually full coverage of the events... mostly just highlights. I know there were tight constraints due to covid, but come on. How is the next generation suppose to be inspired to become olympians when those who cant afford cable cant watch the entire olympics. Personaly i dont care if its live i just want to watch...whether its 2am in the morning or not. It's the one time every two years when profit should be set aside for the benefit of all Americans, not just NBC. A time when everyone with a tv can come together and show support for their country and it's athletes. The one bright side at NBC, since departure of Bob Costas, is the two male hosts of Tokyo Live. Matt and Ahkbar(Sorry if its mispelled) are great! Laurie hernandez I think youve found your new calling, when you retire from gymnastics that is. The three hosts together are FABULOUS ! To all the Olympians....America loves you !

Why is it, that in all the Netflix productions, the bad guys reign supreme and the good guys are left looking incompetent? Do the writers really think such an unbalance of events is entertaining? Sadly...the shows lack the one thing we all cling to... hope. Worst of all, if I have to listen to one more long winded speech, Im gonna go crazy. Just get to the point already. It's like a one person monologue for a stage audition that nobody cares about except the person reciting it. Please don't get me wrong, the acting is great, even the premise is okay, my problem is with the script writers, and how they translate the story.

Mixed up time lines and frequent nude scenes does not make for good tv. Its merely a disguise, The writers thought they were being clever, but its just chaos where there doesnt need to be, They should have had more faith in the story they were trying to tell. On another note, Its another in a long list of mini mini netflix series. 8-13 episodes does not constitute a season just because the writers lack the creative juices, or the producers lack the funds. A true season is 22 episodes.
