Just got done watching this and am amazed that the reviews are so mixed on this. Well written, amazing talented cast. Both my husband & I loved it.

This movie was much better than I thought it would be. The characters were developed for three vignettes, most of the writing crisp, scenery gorgeous acting fabulous by an amazing cast. I can't believe it took me so long to see it, but I am so glad I did.

Were it not for some decent acting, I would change the name of the move to "A Good Snooze."

I loved this show. It is a heartfelt story of a large loving somewhat dysfunctional family who happens to be ultra orthodox Jewish. Though I know very little about the customs of Judaism especially this sect it was a good window into the curious way they live and their strict devotion. I highly recommend it.
