Slow out of the gate, ornary characters, about episode 3, it hooks you and takes off with rocket speed.
Exqusitely filmed in black and white,the attention to details of Italy in the 60's was just perfect.
The last scene for me, was absolutely a perfect ending and hints at more on Ripley in the future.

A painfully real portrayal of people's lives, not the pleasant happy side, rather the ugly dysfuntionalside side of people's lives.
Extremely well done and as If you are eavesdropping on others.
Not a good date Night flick, rather a homebound rainy day solo watch.
