I had to turn it off. That's how bad it was. The movie was trying to be so many things at once that it didn't land any of them. It didn't make sense. The story line didn't sync with production. Parts were exaggerated that didn't need to be and vice versa. Just because it's a black movie with a message about our hair in culture doesn't mean it deserves a higher rating for effort. It was really bad. It had to many skilled actors and too much potential for the movie to tank like that. Please don't let there be a part 2 or a remake!
