He claimed this album to have been a bonus album that he just released to get something out there but still the songs on these are as good as any of the other albums. Needless to say poetic songs that touch your soul. Paper doll is clouded by unnecessary tabloid drama when it is a great song on its own.

Lovely and funky. But still had all the JCM elements to it. Poetic lyrics with awesome guitar playing. Also noticed more production works on this album than his others and would reflect on the new phase he was entering into as a musician. Could be a reflection of the current trends in the music creation industry and also him losing one or two notes. Regardless, a fine album. Still no-one like him in the music world.

Different music than his other albums and clearly a reflection of his time outside the spot light. But still, great music and lyrics. It was great to be able to share this journey with John through his music.

Marvelous as always and poetic lyrics. Look up the live performance of come back to bed from way back. The passion in real. A poet with a guitar is how I'd describe John.

Trance like music with words that touch your soul. Edge of Desire got me really interested in John's music and I haven't looked back since.

Most heartfelt song and songs that are in tune with everybody's heart. I love John Mayer and his songs/ lyrics.

If there was one album I could take with me to my trip to mars this would be it. Awesome lyrics and he's the most talented guitarist/ musician of our generation. What more do you need?

Great first album with some passionate songs. Could listen to some of these songs all day!!
