Suicidal Seagull

Probably the most boring movie I’ve ever watched. Slow with a terrible plot, laughable obvious jump scares and a cliche, predictable ending. The only reason this gets another star is because the guy who played Adrian was fantastic, literally could feel his fear near the end. Guy should be in better movies.

It was ok, not as good as the other two. But you gotta laugh when someone vomits red goo into a plant pot and bro is like “you alright?”

Brill. But it kills me that their gloves show their fingers.

SLIGHT SPOILERS: Wednesday is a good tv series, would highly recommend and would 100% watch again. The story itself is brill, engaging and full of suspense, especially at the end of episodes that almost force you to watch the next one immediately. However, the way Wednesday has visions is a little odd and OTT, she couldn’t exactly hide them. The monster was disappointing, it wasn’t scary and looked like a mixture of hunchback of notre dame with a meme derp face. Awkward. As for poor Xavier, he couldn’t have made himself more suspicious, the police are after the monster so why on EARTH would he draw the monster, and especially a dead woman. But sometimes you gotta brush this stuff aside and accept that everything has a few negative points. Sometimes things overwrite the negatives and I’ll keep this review at 5 stars for that reason.

This was ok, a little slow paced and dragged on for two hours. Riley was a bit irritating but the new Pinhead is amazing. Plus, pinhead isn’t even male in the novel, Hollywood made him male.

It’s ok. Nothing special but I’d be more than happy to watch it if it was on TV. The shaky camerawork is quite annoying, there’s no reason for it to be shaky, the movie isn’t “found footage” like cloverfield. But it’s shaky all the time even when nobody’s moving.

The Thing is far better than it’s prequel which was released in 2010(?) I do however suggest you watch the prequel, as bad as it is, it does set certain scenes that relate to this movie. This movie uses practical FX only, ones that manage to be creepy and frightening, even to this day.

The plot is ok, not great, but ok. The graphics are bad to the point of “not scary” though I’ll admit ONE is creepy enough to get a thumbs up. Unlike the original, it’s also extremely predictable who’s assimilated and who assimilated who. Which sucks. When there’s a transformation, you’re simply not shocked on who it is. And most of the time, they attack for no reason but to scare the audience which goes against its motive. Watchable, give it a go.
