Honestly, it did not deliver IMO. Kudos to Fantasia, Taraji and all the cast members. They did superb. But the film felt rushed. I wanted more. More dialog and character development. Yes, it's a take on the Broadway musical but it felt choppy...scenes quickly cut and spliced.
