If I came into this show not knowing anything about it, I would have thought it's a fun, eye candy fantasy romp. I actually got goosebumps in the beginning, the visual effects are great. I'm re-watching the original series in tandem, which is an unmatchable series for sure but I like that this version is more mature. Some stuff could be better and there's lots of nitpicky haters out there.. but I'm pretty picky with the shows I watch too, and genuinely enjoyed it for what it is.
